But I think their thought processes and the culture are not entirely Westernized, yet. You had the advantage of speaking and reading Chinese before I dumped you there alone for a year, so it was never entirely foreign to you. And to be honest, I never let you have your own rooms in America you wouldn't feel uncomfortable visiting your relatives in Taiwan because you didn't have enough space.
