Hi Barbara, Thanks for the New Year's Wishes. Gung xi fa cai!! (Luck and Prosperity to you)

My husband and I are oxen, so this is supposed to be our year.

Unfortunately, a Chinese news blog reported that the auguries are not too auspicious for the world in general this year. (Although that probably was not a terribly difficult fortunte to cast.)

Happy Chinese New Year! I love the graphic in this post. And...I have a daughter who was born in the year of the Golden Dragon. ;)

Hi Barrie, I have two dragon daughters, but I don't think they're golden. The third one is a snake. My in-laws are a dog and a pig. I'm probably one of the few Chinese daughters-in-law who can call her mother-in-law a pig and get away with it :)!!

Golden dragons are the most lucky, but dragons can be demanding and imperious. (Must be because they think they're royalty or something.)

May you have much peace and prosperity on the Year of the Ox.
